Commodore Isaac Hull
Commodore Hull played a great role in our country's history. Born in Derby, Hull grew up on the sea, joining his father on numerous trips as far as the West Indies. He came to command a number of ships and was eventually named a Lieutenant in the US Navy. Most notably was his time served aboard the USS Constitution.

Lou DeFilippo
Mr. DeFilippo coached the Derby High School football team for 15 years. While under his coaching the Red Raiders went undefeated five times and finishes ranked #1 in the state twice. A graduate of Fordham University, Lou went on to play with the New York Giants for three years before he began his coaching career that eventually landed him in Derby, Connecticut.
